The Town of Watertown Fire Department is located in the State of New York, County of Jefferson, Town of Watertown, and was duly organized to provide fire protection for the Town of Watertown Fire District.
The Town of Watertown Fire Department is organized to protect and save lives, suppress and control fires, perform rescue operations at emergency site actions, and perform such services as deemed in the best interest of the members and the citizens of the Town of Watertown Fire District.
In performing it's duties, it is the commitment of the Town of Watertown Fire Department to provide the highest possible level of safety and health for all members and to operate in the safest possible manner.
The prevention and reduction of accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses, are the goals of the Town of Watertown Fire Department and shall be primary considerations at all times.
The concern for safety and health applies to all members of the Town of Watertown Fire Department and everyone involved in fire department activities.
