TWFD covers a 67 square mile district of primarily residential area, with such attractions as the Salmon Run Mall, COR Development, Jefferson County Fire/EMS Training Facility, Watertown State Correctional Facility, numerous car dealership on Rte. 11, the Dry Hill Ski Area, the new apartments on Rte. 202, Summit Village (assisted living and skilled nursing care) and much more.  

TWFD with its 3 stations, provides Fire Protection to the Town of Watertown, and mutual aid to its surrounding communities.  We also provide EMS (First Responder) coverage to the Town of Watertown, along with the Town of Watertown Ambulance Service.

We have 50 plus members with membership ranging from over 50 years to probationary firefighters with under a year of service.  With the Fire Chief and 3 assistant Chiefs, we provide coverage to the town and mutual aid to all of Jefferson County.
